  1. § The Wilcoxon test was used to test for heterozygosity excess under infinite allele (IAM), stepwise mutation (SMM) and two-phase (TPM) models. P values are indicated under each model type. Parameters for TPM were: variance = 30; proportion of SMM = 70%. Estimates were based on 1,000 replications.
