  1. The distribution of F. tularensis detection in different small mammal species in the three study sites in absolute and relative numbers is shown. An animal was considered positive for F. tularensis when two independent PCR assays demonstrated F. tularensis-specific DNA and/or when cultivation of F. tularensis was successful.
