Groups of 4–5 week-old BALB/c mice were treated i.p. with WNIG (2 or 8 mg/mouse), 4 h, or on days 3, 4, or 5 after injection of 10–20 LD₅₀ of WNV. Mice were observed daily for mortality for 21 days.
