Microscopic appearance of intestinal spirochetosis. (H&E staining) ABrachyspira aalborgi. Basophilic fringes measuring 2 to 6 micrometers in length were observed on the surface epithelium. BBrachyspira pilosicoli. Basophilic fringes measuring 4 to 20 micrometers in length were observed on the surface epithelium.
