The dendrogram of PFGE profiles of the 38 A. baumannii isolates and comparison of PFGE types, trilocus multiplex PCR types and MLST sequence types. The dendrogram includes PFGE patterns of 38 isolates and the comparison was performed with the BioNumerics software v5.1 using the UPGMA (unweighted pair group method with arithmetic mean) clustering method and the Dice similarity coefficient with 1.5 % band matching tolerance and 0.5 % optimization. The PFGE types were assigned, first based on the outbreaks (X or Y), then based to the degree of similarity according to guidelines of Tenover and colleagues [27]
