The metabolites used in the model of RSV bronchiolitis versus healthy control children also predict length of hospitalization. Using the same metabolites, we created a new PLS-DA-based model (R2 = 0.83, Q2 = 0.81) comparing the same healthy children in relation to the duration of hospitalization for RSV infection.
