Re-emergence of epidemic H3N2 strains post 2009 H1N1 pandemic. We referred to the websites of National Institute of Infectious Diseases in Japan (http://www.nih.go.jp/niid/en/) and the Influenza Virus Resource of the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) (http://0-www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov.brum.beds.ac.uk/genomes/FLU/FLU.html) to obtain the annual epidemiological data for seasonal influenza virus after the 2009 pandemic.
