Inclusion and exclusion of patients in the prolonged TB-IRIS analyses. The total study population included 216 TB-IRIS patients from three prior studies (one randomised controlled trial and two prospective observational cohort studies). The initial analyses comparing those who experienced a prolonged course of TB-IRIS symptoms (defined as lasting more than 90 days) to those that did not experience a prolonged course of TB-IRIS included 181 patients. Reasons for exclusion of 35 patients from these analyses are shown.
