A dendrogram of the PFGE results for the Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates. All strains except those isolated from the blood, environment, and medical staff were obtained from the ASCs of the neonate skin surface, stool, or perianal swab specimens. All isolates show similar PFGE patterns. The 1-blood sample is from case 7 in Table 1, 2-environment sample is from the incubator of 8-ASC, 3-environment sample is from the surface of the washing room, and 4-environment sample is from 17-ASC.
