  1. Pearson chi-squared test and Fisher exact testf assessed the differences at a 95% level of significance. Employees include the workers of both government and private institutions. Hafir is an artificially constructed large hole in the land for rainwater collection during the rainy season (Hafir water uses for drinking and other purposes). S. haematobium (Urogenital schistosomiasis)as well as S. mansoni, H. nana, Cryptosporidium spp, and E. histolytica (Intestinal parasites) represented the detected parasites among both control and T2DM individuals.
